What is a pool party and who are they for?

Thinking of fun and different ideas for your child's birthday party can be stressful and expensive! Here at Grange Farm Swim School we love hosting parties in our warm heated indoor pool and bubbly hot tub. With the music adding to the fun your child and their friends and family can all enjoy a good splash, followed by some lovely party food and a home made birthday cake - whatever the weather is doing outside!

Who are the parties suitable for?

There really are many answers to this. We have run very successful First Birthday parties, parties for primary school age children, parties for those tricky teens, and even Hen parties.

The hot tub (a gorgeous 38 degrees) adds the luxury and pampering that even tempts the parents into the fun.

If your child loves swimming then this could be the perfect party.

When can the party take place?

We normally run parties on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. If you have a different requirement then please ask - we will always do our best to accommodate you.

How many people can we invite?

The pool is perfect for parties that are small and intimate (perhaps only a handful of besties) , or the whole class! Up to 25 people in total can be accommodated.

What if some of my child's friends can't swim?

Non-swimmers will need an adult in the water with them for supervision. The majority of the pool has a depth of 1.4m so children under the age of around 8yrs won't be able to touch the bottom. Please ensure these children have arm bands or suitable float aids.

A lifeguard is also provided for your safety and comfort.

Do you have any inflatables or toys there?

We have some fun toys (like this boat), and balls / floats / woggles / sinkers. These can all be used for the party. Your lifeguard will help tidy up afterwards - leaving your party free to wander off and enjoy the food and drink!

What kind of food is provided?

The party package includes food such as sausage rolls, sandwiches, buscuits, crisps. We provide a lovely home baked birthday cake - you have the choice of plain sponge or chocolate ! We are proud of our Food Hygene Rating of 5 Stars - so let us take care of that little hassel (and the clearing up again!)
