Our Staff

Lucy Ryan, Manager,Owner, Teacher

Our Swimming Pool is a hive of activity and we welcome around 100 people on a daily basis.

If I am not poolside teaching the tiny ones to swim, on the computer balancing the books, or answering enquiries, I can be found racing at swimming competitions. I'm currently ranked second in the World for my age group in Breaststroke.

Swimming has been a passion throughout my life and I am so proud to share this confidence, and the resources needed, with the community. Families, partners, friends, strengthen bonds, feel good and strong, leave relaxed and fulfilled with a sense of achievement and a real life skill.

Grange Farm Swimming School has gone from strength to strength since being purpose built over 10 years ago. Our success stories run from popular baby and toddler classes, pre-schoolers often swimming unaided from 3 years old, children and adults of all ages developing their swimming ability and confidence in water.

Jessica Jeffries

Jessica Jeffries Swim Teacher

Known mostly as mum of Layla and Ariana my name is Jess and I'm a Level 2 swimming teacher here at Grange Farm.

As an ex-competitive swimmer for the Wisbech Swimming Club I cannot wait to share the knowledge and experience I have gained introducing everyone into the wonderful world of aquatics, starting with the tiny tots at Ducklings and specialising in teaching beginner children to learn to swim while making it as fun as possible.

Swimming has been my passion for as long as I can remember and now being able to teach is fantastic, watching each individual grow and succeed being amazed by the strength they show every time  they complete something new and being just as proud as they are.

When I’m not working you’ll probably still find me in the water with my own family, making up games and singing songs.

Tracy Adams Swim Teacher

Swimming Instructor, special education tutor with children that have sensory and behaviour diagnosis, and Teaching Assistant. I have been a swimming instructor for 22 years; in that time, I have helped lots of children and adults achieve the confidence in water that I believe is an important life skill.

Swimming opens so many wonderful opportunities to everyone. Personally, nothing has opened experiences to me like swimming has from confidence to fitness. I have the pleasure of passing on my joy for swimming to the pupils that are in my care and I am extremely grateful for this.

She holds a Pool Plant Operator certificate.
Lisa is fully trained in the cleaning products we use, which has been even more important than ever over the last 18 months.

During COVID it has been even more important that we provide our clients with the reassurance that our facility is clean and safe. Lisa has worked tirelessly, both when we have been open and closed, to allow the facility to re-open in a COVID secure way. We are very proud of the hygiene levels maintained and will be continuing to prioritise this in our business.

Greg Marsters

With 22 years experience in swimming I have worked with five swimming clubs covering teaching, coaching and officiating.

My main belief in swimming is that every swimmer should be given the opportunity to excel this means to give them the opportunity to be the best, the best they can be as individuals.

I have coached many swimmers to National level including 5 National medals and 2 disabled swimmers, one to the same standard and at the time a world distance record and the other went on to represent GB and has won medals at International Paralympic level.

I am currently Head Coach at Wisbech Swimming Club

Kathy Whitby

Kathy is our fantastic lead Aqua Fit Instructor.

She brings enthusiasm, passion, and music to every class.

She is genuinely concerned about each and every person who attends her classes, and always striving to improve the classes she offers.
There is a passionate following for Kathy's Aqua Fit classes (and her online Back Care and Pilates classes too). We currently offer 7 classes a week - but you had better be quick because some of her devoted followers attend every single one!)
