Here is some feedback from our loyal and lovely swimmers!

"Baby swimming lessons are the highlight of my week - I don't know what I'll do in the summer holidays!"

"I couldn't swim a stroke but now I love it and can't wait for my private lesson every week."

"I can't recommend grange farm swimming enough both my girls didn't like water now one is in group 3 and the other group 4 . Small groups .Lucy is great with all the children and is very approachable . 5***** "

"This is the second year that I have taken up the offer of swimming lessons for my two children during the summer holidays. Both of my children thoroughly enjoy their time in the pool and usually attend once a week for a 30 minute lesson.  Over the summer they have attended for 4 days, of a chosen week, doing 45 minute lessons and their confidence and ability has improved noticeably.  My son gained another Stage Certificate and Badge during this week and my daughter is not too far behind!

I would most definitely take up any offer of swimming in school holidays again, as the progress seen in the children swimming daily is significant.  Lucy teaches with patience and understanding, making learning to swim fun.  The lessons are affordable and children are placed in small groups according to ability.  I am so pleased that my children are able to learn to swim at Grange Farm and would highly recommend it to anyone! "I just wanted to say thank you so much for the party today. Stanley and his friends had a lovely time. Izzy looked after us really well. You have a fabulous place there. We were really pleased and throughly enjoyed ourselves.
Kind Regards, Fiona"

"I like to use the pool for the ability of running uninterrupted session for teaching or coaching and that there are no distractions especially for disabled clients whom find it sometimes harder to concentrate. Training sessions are ideal because you can use fins which isn't allowed in a leisure pool, Monique, Grange Farm Swim School Instructor"

"Lucy is a very good teacher giving clear instructions, praise and encouragement. As a result my daughter really enjoys her lessons, which are in nice small sized groups.

We also try to take advantage of the 1-1 lessons Lucy offers during the school holidays. These lessons are tailored to my daughters individual needs. Prices are very reasonable for both group and 1-1 lessons."

"I came to Lucy for lessons to improve my breast stroke, as I was a typical breaststroke swimmer, I didn't put my face in the water and didn't know how to breathe . As a consequence I had neck pain. Since having lessons my breast stroke has improved beyond all recognition. I was the sort of person who didn't like getting my face wet in the water, so for Lucy to be able to teach me how to breathe and  glide through the water, is testament to her excellent teaching ability. Not only have I vastly improved my breaststroke, but amazingly Lucy has taught me how to swim front crawl too. If I can learn this, which I really thought was beyond my capabilities, it really does demonstrate how effective having one to one lessons with Lucy is. I was a product of 1970's style swimming lessons , the fear approach, so to come this far with Lucy is not only a great personal achievement for me, but just shows that everyone, regardless of age and confidence, can improve their swimming! I found that I enjoyed my swimming so much more than usual while I was on holiday as a result of having  lessons. I would say to anyone who is half thinking about having some lessons to improve their technique, or to learn new strokes, or to start as a beginner, just give it a try which is what I did.  Thanks Lucy!! Gillian"

"To Lucy, Thanks for all the encouragement & for fab, fun swimming lessons!"

"Having had an accident that resulted in the loss of most of my left leg, I asked Lucy if she could help me learn to swim again. She has been great, always friendly and encouraging and really knows how to train swimmers. I can honestly say my swimming is better now than before the accident - thanks Lucy! Best Regards, Mark."
